Tiny House on Wheels
At the Tiny House Village, we are proud to offer lots for tiny houses on wheels (THOWs) for your stay. But what exactly is a THOW, you may ask?
About THOWs
What is a THOW?
A tiny house on wheels is a small, portable home that is typically built on a trailer frame. These homes are designed to be compact and efficient, making the most of every inch of space. They offer all the comforts of a traditional home, but on a smaller scale.
How Big Are They?
At The Hideaway, we have some specific guidelines for the maximum dimensions permitted. The maximum dimensions are 8’6”W X 36’L x 13’6” tall. This ensures that our tiny houses are easy to transport and fit within your designated lot.
What Are They Made Of?
We require that the exterior style of each THOW must resemble a traditional home in both materials and construction. This means that fiberglass exteriors, RVs, travel trailers, or motorhomes and mobile homes are not permitted.
More About THOWs and The Hideaway
We take pride in hosting a community of high-quality and aesthetically pleasing tiny homes. All of our tiny houses must be on a bumper pull or 5th wheel trailer frame.
We do not accept tiny houses on foundation (THOFs) at this time. This is to ensure that our tiny homes are mobile and can be easily moved in and out of our village.
